What is this newsletter about?

The hustle and bustle of everyday life leaves us with barely any time to step back and reflect over everything that happens around us. As W.H. Davies pens it down beautifully in ‘Leisure’:

What is this life if, full of care,
we have no time to stand and stare?

This newsletter aims to be the gently rocking armchair among the rush of uncomfortable office chairs; it shall act as the deep breath that clears the mind among the short, raspy flow of polluted air through our lungs.

As you go through this newsletter, I’m sure there will be several moments where you shall pause, ponder, recollect your own experiences and then continue reading. And that ‘Hmmm! That makes sense!’ moment shall be this newsletter’s greatest victory.

Please subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and never miss an update. You won’t have to worry about missing anything. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.

Who am I?

I have spent the last ten years as a business consultant, interacting with people from all walks of life. Problem solving is what I do for a living and that involves listening intently to every word, absorbing experiences and treating them as my own.

Living in a metropolis like Mumbai means a two hour drive everyday, hopping across multiple clients meetings. Over the years, I have developed the ability to drown out the sounds of the traffic around me and slip into a stream of thoughts that beg to be put down into words.

I believe reflecting on these thoughts help you put life into perspective - actions, emotions, work ethic, relationships, the sights and sounds around you and so many other variables that affect every single living moment. Sometimes, err on the side of looking at things too closely, unable to find a solution. A dialogue from the movie ‘Now You See Me’ teaches a life lesson that I absolutely live by:

The closer you think you are, the less you'll actually see.
